Paul is a family man who is dedicated to motorsport and has over 9 years of racing experience.
His roots lie in karting and rallying, but Paul made the move to saloon cars in 2004 and has never looked back. In 2007 he reached the ultimate goal and won the Northern Sports and Saloon Championship outright.
Paul also is an experienced ARDS instructor, and is recently gained his Instructors Licence B upgrade. In 2006 and 2007 he worked as the chief instructor for the Uniroyal Fun Cup Scholarship as well as providing in field entertainment to the crowds at the VXR track days with Swiftsport.
His racing career started in 1990 when he obtained his National short Circuit Kart Licence and competed in the Langbaurgh 100 National Kart Championship in which he finished 2nd. A feat which he then repeated in 1991 before becoming a double champion winning both the Langburg 100 Championship as well as the North East Area 100 National Championship. Paul then competed in stage rallies in 1995 by gaining his National B rally licence
After a break from competing Paul then began 2004 by racing in the Northern Sports and Saloon championship after achieving his National B Race licence. He finished the season 4th in class and 14th overall in the championship moving onwards and upwards ever since. He finished 2nd in class and 10th overall in 2005 moving up to 3rd overall in 2006 and as for 2007 we all know the result!!!
Since 2004 Paul's motorsport career has never looked back, with a wealth of varied motorsport experience. In addition to working with Swiftsport, the Ford Display team and the Uniroyal Funcup Scholarship, he has worked with the Shell Formula One Driver initiative along with working as an ARDS instructor throughtout the years from 2005 to the present day.
